Our Kenya Team

Our Kenya evangelist Ivan Githinji has assembled a dedicated team to take The Victorious Warrior through Kenya and eventually throughout Africa. His mission is to bring the Word of God to the youth of Africa, starting with Kenya, making them victorious warriors so that Africa experiences revival in the Spirit that will resonate around the world.

Ivan Githinji was born and brought up in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County. He has two brothers and two sisters, and they live together with their parents in Eldoret. Ivan attended school at GK Prison Primary and Kapsoya Secondary School. Currently, he is doing a Diploma in Theology at the Grace Bible College. He grew up in a Christian home but he did not actually have a personal relationship with Jesus until he made a conscious decision to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 2015.
Before he made that important decision to follow Christ, his life was somewhat meaningless and had no satisfaction with what he was doing. He had never had a personal encounter with Jesus. Through more fellowship with other brethren at the Rock Center Church of Christ, a deep longing to experience Jesus in his life pushed him to that encounter, where he decided to follow Jesus. First John 1:7 helped him realize that the blood of Jesus had cleansed him from all sin.
He has now learnt to fully trust God and live boldly, knowing that he belongs to Jesus and that he is of the Kingdom. In 2016, he was led by God to teach the Sunday School and with time, his leadership skills improved and a passion to teach the youth also developed. He now has a desire to do outreach for the youth.

By combining their commitment to ending teenage pregnancies with their dedication to spreading the Gospel, they strive to create a nurturing and empowering environment where young people can experience the transformative power of God's love. Together, they work towards a future where each young person can embrace their full potential and walk in Grace and purpose, free from the burden of early parenthood.

Catherine Wughanga

Pastor's Wife in Malindi

I was born in Taita Taveta County, a ninth child in a family of ten children. Academically, I reached form 2, and because of financial weakness, I couldn't continue. I was brought up by religious parents, but I had this thirst to know God more! When I went out of the care of my parents, I started searching for God. I started afresh with God in a spiritual church. This is where I received the burden of young generation! I found out that I had a lot of potential as a youth, that gave me more burden of helping the youth to understand what is in them! Though I passed through many trials, God helped me. I am a living testimony to youths: it is possible to guard my treasure until the end of youth journey!
